If it were accompanied by Keanu Reeves then I'd want to obliterate them both.
yes I would, bet the Martians would say "blo*dy immigrants".
Yes probably sandy....after having my photo taken standing beside it and trying to sell some tea and biscuits to the occupants...well, assumed occupants <smile>
It would be great to know we are not alone Sandy.
Of course we are not alone twr. You only have to look at the immensity of the Universe to see that, without any scientists telling you. The problem is contact over those vast immensities.
I would view it as agressive and destroy it.

Firewatch, that's probably what happened to Beagle 2 a while back.
if I were a Martian rock, definitely. And who is to say that Martian rocks do not have souls?
Precisely, why havnt they learned ye mars dosnt wan to be explored??
When I heard this on the news this morning I immediately donned my aluminium foil hat and moved into the shed for safety. Anticipate invasion before lunch.
Do you not think with that view Fire! that whoever / whatever was there would destroy without even without first finding out the reason for the visit?

Armed with a laser capable of melting rock, can it mission be peaceful?
Come to think of it, and looking at the rest of the news, it makes me wonder why they would want to contact us.
maybe they already have....
If I wasn't that bright, I'd think it was a sign from God.

Oh I had forgotten about our little misson to Mars. What is the verdict from the new lander? Is it okay as over half the missions to the red planet have failed?

Where can we see more about it on the Internet?
