I Put a 2nd hard drive in my pc, it insists on calling it 'D:' - How can is tell it to accept 'E:' so i can keep 'D:' for my cdrom?

I don't think you can under 95/98/ME (unlike NT/2K/XP) - sorry.

as i suspected.. thx anyway :-)
Can't you change it using FDisk or Partition Magic?

not with fdisk [or bios changes] - Partitition Magic may do it but not a freeware.
yes u can reassign drive letters but u need to use partition magic 7 or 8 to do it :) very easy to do just run program and select driver then change letter :)
