I do hope the "chat" has cleared the air, and you can (both) put things behind you and move forward.
Good luck! (that wasn't meant sarcastically - I've once or twice been misconstrued here)
Thinking of you Smow, hope everything goes well. Don't let him off too lightly! lol xxx
No I told him a few home truths and he agreed with me how he has been lately. Asked if he could come home and I said I didnt know, which stunned him. Then after a while we agreed on Sunday. Think he knows that he took it all too far - a night or so away to calm down is fair enough, but a week was over stepping it. He looked far more stressed than I did! Well maybe its made him think twice about a few things.x
If, and it's a big if, he starts casting anything up show him the door. Just don't cast anything up at him.
How is son with his step-dad coming back?
I really do hope things work well for you all xx
No, its going to be a fresh start, cant go back to how it was. Son wasnt too chuffed actually, but tbh if he had his way then it would only be us two anyway. Told him that I had long chat with Step dad, and that will not allow it to back to how it was and then he was ok. In hindsight, although very stressful, the week apart probably has done some good - to take a step back and look at things x
