Roadworks signs in middle of road.

I had to take my father to hospital this morning at 4am.
It turned out he had pulled a muscle and there was nothing wrong with his heart.
When I was driving to the hospital I had to stop the car on about 6 occasions to move signes which should have been on the pavement as they were in the middle of the road.
It may have appeared to be a joke to the people who moved these signs but don't these people ever think of the fact an ambulance for example could have been trying to get to somebody having a heart attack.
We were delayed for about 5 minutes which could have meant the difference between life and death for somebody.

The people who put the signs in the road were probably drunk and didn't even realise the problems they could cause.
It is still annoying though.

They probably tthought it was funny but like you said, didnt think of the consequences. Hope your dad is ok.

Idiots - like the guy I watched the other day, carefully taking a row of cones and lying them all on their sides in the road. I hope your dad's ok now.

There are pranksters in all walks of life- some pranks are funny, some harmless or just cause minor irritation but as you say some can have unforeseen consequences or even intended serious consequences
