Anyone watch Andrew Lloyd Webber's Superstar, searching for Jesus for his new production. Four men from a rock group auditioned and the judges put three of them through, I thought it was really embarrassing to leave one out how must he feel thinking he is the worst in the group should have put them all through or none at all.

nothing that he appears in interests me, he is just looking to make money for his new show.
I agree Mary. And wasn't the one who was left out the "leader" of the group? I'm sure I've seen Nathan, the one thinks he's got lovely hair, on another talent show - like the X Factor or something.
When you have seen Ted Neeley as Jesus no one else would be acceptable.
I wish we could be left with our memories instead of being 'assaulted' by the sounds and looks of the wannabees.

You can say that again Mary. I won the album in a competition off Radio Birmingham in 1973 and two tickets to see the film. I have seen every theatre production of JCS in Birmingham since then and twice in London.

When the film finished the cinema was as quiet as the grave. It seemed ages before people got up to leave. It was eerie.

When I heard this new production was being made I checked out the box office at Birmingham Indoor Arena. I was staggered to find out the price for a half decent seat was £80.00.

I'll stick to the DVD thank you very much.
I agree with em10.
