We're back!

Had a wonderful holiday, Croatia a beautiful country. We had 3 leaks and a crumpled bumper. Actually got stopped by customs for the first time. At the window where you show passports, they grilled us, where have you been? what places did you stay at, name of towns and camp sites, did you stay at any hotels, did you pack the van yourselves, etc etc. Please pull in round there. Two more officials appeared, asked exactly the same questions. Then came in M/H. Checked every cupboard, looked under every seat and the bed. Tapped every surface and wall looking for hidden panels, the male was obviously teaching younger female, and giving a running commentary about secret compartments stuffed with drugs. They looked at our supply of wine and tobacco and eventually admitted defeat and let us go wheeow!!

For my holiday on Scilly I got to Penzance and the sailings were cancelled. Two weeks in Honiton doing my daughter`s garden instead.

Was great, rained most of the way down to Croatia out of 22 days we had rain on 11 days.
Gneiss so sorry you lost out, people do not understand about holiday entitlement, you cannot usually retake your holiday after the event.
We certainly didn't have a secret compartment, to scared to do anything other than legit.
My recordings of programmes did not work properly. Lost a big chunk of Corrie, Only 1 Casualty. Lost of programmes showing as recorded will not play.
Strange thing tho, after watching last nights Corrie, I looked what was available on recordings, there was another Corrie, saing Coronation Street (New). I played this and it was an earlier episode when Peter gave up Simon, how come this one showed up after the other episodes? I have a Humax system. Plus a lot of the other progs I recorded showed thy were recored but would not play at all. So a bit pee-ed off.
