A little tug on a shirt isn't enough for anyone to fall down like a bag of spuds yet amazingly some footballers do just that, so I would take the comment to mean that there was a small amount of holding but the player chose to go to ground to get a free kick rather than stay on his feet and carry on playing.
Sadly, only too common in todays game, bibble. If referees started booking these 'divers' instead of giving free kicks the practice would soon go away, in my opinion. Let's see how many of these divers get free kicks off Howard Webb.
ER -A little tug on the Shirt was and still is a FOUL ,mate.
It annoys me when commentators say "so and so's won a penalty" rather than "so and so's conceded a penalty. In my opinion it's impossible to win a penalty other than by cheating. In which case the "winner" should be booked.
