If you were to unexpectedly get £2000, lottery win or inheritance for example, would you be sensible and pay off your debts/save for a rainy day or splurge the lot?

I think I'd have to have a holiday to escape the rain. But then again, I've been lusting after the new Samsung Galaxy tablet. Dang, my wife would want something......

Nice to dream, though

hc, yes you're right, I am so happy here by the sea, don't feel the need to go anywhere, even when it's raining and windy, I love it!.......
Welshy if you love living where you are I don't blame you. I wish we could find somewhere different.
I'd quit my job and frantically look for another.
gran, you can!.......we did!..........you just need to decide to go to a place that you can be settled and happy, you just have to decide what you want from life!........
I'd bank it.
Two thousand pounds? My niece and her husband are coming to see me next month - I'd give it to them...
