ive not followed all the celebrations at all but put telly on this morning and caught them speaking to people waiting to see the queen.... there was one older lady right at the barrier they spoke to with a glass in her hand and she said it was wine...... i dunno if she was joking or not but surely if it was they should have taken it off her? if it had been a youngan with a can of lager i bet they would have been got shut of pronto.... and before anyone jumps on me for this i really couldnt care less either way, i just wondered......

there were loads of people with drinks at the pageant, people of all ages, nationalities and so forth, it's a celebration, so most definitely allowed.

thanks em, i just saw the one woman this morning, didnt realise others were too...
Imagine if the women had a pint in her hand, lol
kat, if so that was me, lol
The trailing scarf looked lovely, it matched the fabric wound round her hat.
women ... pints ... can't see how that would provoke much interest ;+)
you can drink outside in most areas, as long as it's not a nuisance to others, and there isn't a notice up saying an alcohol free zone..
