Good Deeds for the Weekend

Anyone done any this weekend? Mine are a bit poor, managed to rescue a "present" of a little mouse/shrew one of the cats brought in yesterday - managed to wrestle the cat out the window only to see the mouse had disappeared from it's mouth and retraced my steps to find it alive on the landing so released it back out into the wild (well, as wild as it gets round here!). Mind you, got a dead one as a present this morning so not much mouse karma there!

Found some out of date (by a week) milk on the shelf in the supermarket earlier and took it to the manager - second time I've found out of date perishables in a week on their shelves, a whole box of meat last time I let them know about - seems the days of working in a supermarket haven't left me haha :) Won a tenner on the lottery though so maybe some good karma there!

Anyone else done any good deeds?

I've put out the rest of my bedding plants, sowed some seeds and done my baskets. I also let my visiting daughter wear my new shoes all weekend even though they were still in the bag saved for my holiday. That's my limit for do-gooding I'm afraid.

thank you gness. perhaps i should add that he is the only person i have seen or spoken to since last wednesday. i thnk i did very well.
Heck Excel...no apologies needed. She didn`t want me, never liked me and gave me my marching orders at fifteen. We`ve had a relationship of sorts for some time but she`s an awkward old cuss who idolises my brother. Luckily I have a sense of humour!
I just made my OH's sandwiches.
Nobody borrows my shows Prudie. I have size 2 feet!
Mr Ask is ill with a chest infection he's on antibiotics but he is constantly coughing, so not much sleep for us. I've been getting up and make him lemon tea with honey or a warm drink during the night for a week now. My daughter and granddaughter came to visit this weekend, been busy washing and going round the Shopping Centre with them, andd buying clothes for them. Glad it's only once a month, it costs a bit but I'm happy to see them.
Size 2? Really? Where can you buy shoes that aren't childrens'?
Brantano and a few good shops do some size 2s and I just buy any I come across when I see them. The biggest nuisance is having to bind the boobs so I don`t topple over.:-)
:-) So you're not in proportion to your feet then!
small feet, small hands, big boobs; mmmmmmmmmm
Well I was Prudie until I reached the age where they head south and for some reason they grew! Quite a surprise I can tell you.
Mind you, they perked up after a week of lifting sacks of pebbles. May keep a few sacks and wander around the garden with them.
Looked after a rescue greyhound while its owners attended to urgent family business. Well, to be more accurate, my own dogs did most of the entertaining.
Helped out at grandson's birthday party. 30 six year olds!.
You know what Dolly Parton says about her small feet gness? Nothing grows much in the shade.
My wife and I had our 3month old granddaughter most of yesterday (Sunday) as our daughter has the flu' and sil had to work. At least he has the next two days off.
