On the past three mornings I've woken up with really bad cramp in my right calf, which lasts for about 10 mins - can anyone suggest what might be causing it?

I get cramps which are linked to osteoarthritis, which affects my movement and hence my muscles. Hot weather makes them worse.
I think the heat makes them worse too, the heat itself and more dehydrated etc... My legs have been evil since we've had this heatwave.
A quick summary of skin damage due to the sun.

Solar hyperkeratosis.......commonest cause by far....Google it
Bowen's disease....not malignant and very common.......Google it.
Basal Cell Carcinoma...........doesn't metastasize....cure rate 100%
Squamous Cell Carcinoma.......rarely metastasizes.....cure rate 90%
Malignant melanoma.....the most uncommon of the skin cancers.....not a nice one to have......big debate as to whether it has ANY connection with sun exposure.

sqad's potted version.
