Stuck on 2 down - Those visiting the National Theatre will see his play (5) E?G?R - the only famous name to fit is Elgar but he never wrote a play unless it means play music - any enlightenment will be most appreciated

I thought Lear's first name was Edward
Sorry, I've just realised Edgar is a character in King Lear. I should have known better than to question people who have been on here longer than me.
Stockman, I'm open to question all the time x (luckily, I did that play at school, but I admit I could have made the answer clearer)
