This is an outhere idea. I love that advert where the dad creates an email account for his newborn daughter, he sens mail to it all through her life with pictures and stories of her growing up with the eventual aim to give the account to her when she grows up, sort of like a virtual memory box (advert always made me cry by the way). I suppose it would be more a gift for your daughter, but your hubbie could perhaps create it and keep it going, the gift that keeps on giving so to speak.
and congratulations all!

enjoy the moment!
thatnk you for the link, ummm - I did wonder a few weeks back, when bednobs said something about "a project she couldn't talk about yet" - I am so tingly for the Bednobses.

^ re rockys' idea, my dad did that for my brother (but hard copy not email) - we didn't find it until after my dad had died. It had all dad's thoughts about life and hopes for my brother (as his only son) - it was lovely.

Bednobs - I think just being there will be Phoebe's gift. Do get the mould of her feet done - it needs to be up there with her brother and sister, they too are part of what has gone before for your family x
oh my goodness. i feel like i've been away for ages. congratulations on your news. i kept an eye on your posts in the past and i cant believe how much has gone on in such a short space of time for you. it just seems like yesterday i was reading your terrible news.

i'm sorry i cant suggest a present idea but just having your family home will be the best present he can get xx
I can't think of anything more exciting than having Phoebe at home. Just a nice 'family' meal would do. Congratulations it is wonderful news after all your heartache.xx
A photograph of just the hands of the three of you
agree with AYG, speaking from a male perspective.

A favourite meal, a favourite bottle of wine, maybe a couple of embellishments, leave that to you, bedknobs, and in the knowledge that he has his lover and partner at home with his new girl would make him very happy and warm.

Save the photo and frame for a birthday or Xmas...............
Congratulations Bednobs. I wish you a lovely family life. There are some lovely plants bearing her name.x
and congrats, I went through two ectopics and have a glimpse of what you went through......enjoy Phoebe, I know you love her already.
beds ... I understand what you mean about all the tubes, etc. But, in some ways, isn't a photograph like that a reminder of how fragile and delicate she was? And if she can fight through that, then how feisty is she going to be when she's older?? Someone is going to have their hands full !!!
p.s. Was Purflo mattress what you were looking for?
