Scandinavian tongue widely found in Orkney and Shetland dialects, (5), ??r?e
I thought this was Norse but then it doesn't fit in with the clue down,Doric for above sounds like benefit, (5), a?u??, which I also thought was abune, in which case, Norse would become e?r?e. Can anyone help please?
