Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Why on earth is there no option to send the answers in to Keith Aitken Crossword on a Friday this week. Hopefully it's a printing error and not a permanent change. I will be furious if its the latter. The prize is £100 and a bottle of whisky. The price of the paper Is a ridiculous £1.30 for a tabloid. They have already taken away the letter of the week away prize during covid I shall seriously stop buying it now

The Express has been reducing/ending prizes on its crosswords across the board this year

They've also recently got rid of the £1,000 prize in the Sunday Express

Lots of people buy particular newspapers because of crosswords and competitions.

The prize for Keith's Crossword changed quite a while ago - the £100 was dropped so the prize has just been a bottle of whiskey for quite a while.

The title of the crossword was different this Friday indicating it was a "FUN" crossword, possibly in their minds negating the need to explain the removal of the prize.

But totally agree that the prize be sorely missed (although not essential for me). I love the challenge of completing it, with the added anticipation of hopefully winning something.

Let's hope it's just a brief gap in prizes until a new sponsor or whiskey supplier can be found!
