Sqad, I just had a call from my GP regarding bloods taken 2 days ago and the CRP reading was 310 !! Now I know I feel like pooh , the oralmorph is helping with the pain from the fibrosis. Even when I have been rough before the read has never been this high, usually about 40 ish. What's going on ??

This raised CRP could be due to many things, but in my opinion it is due to the activity in your retroperitoneal fibrosis. if i remember correctly, you are being weaned off steroids and the high CRP may well indicate, that this is not working. you may need further investigations e.g MRI scan and your steroids may well have to be re-introduced.

I look forward to further medical opinion.
