A letter has been sent home from school today about the Olympic Torch passing through the area - it has details of where it will be every three minutes that it is in the area (it covers two sides of A4 in tiny writing). Does anyone know if every area has the same level of detail or if it is just Hereford that has gone a bit bonkers?

It's that detailed everywhere, but the ceremony on the seafront here is invitation only, high security
this is the official site http://www.london2012.com/torch-relay/route/ and you can find the times for many spots along the route

Seems an awful lot of work, in Hereford it is spending six minutes at a 'private event'. Who knows how much fuss there will be when the queen visits in July.
seems to be going in various straight lines through London without following the streets. Is this a parkour thing?
parkour...?
"a physical discipline which focuses on efficient movement around obstacles"

It is coming down my high street and the only details have been gleaned from the local newspaper.
funnygirl - if you click on my link then you can then enter your postcode and find out when the torch will be nearby

It's coming here on Thursday next week, but keeping in mind that it is still in Greece (I think, I might have seen that on a program that I had Sky +) I can't see how it is going to get here on time!
They're gearing up for it here in July, local shops and local newspaper have details all over the place. I was going to go down for a gander, but if there is going to be thousands of people as well I'd rather stay in bed.
sort of like those SAS squirrels, boxtops
