Anyone else getting that storm of hailstones at the moment (SW Essex), never heard anything like it, sounds like the conservatory roof is about to cave in.

I'm in lincolnshire, and looking forward to some interesting weather, mind you, it was interesting today, there was this big orange ball in the sky, and it heated everything up!!!! got so used to rain and cloud that i'd forgotten what the sun looked like.
Nice day here in West Yorkshire just a bit windy, and clear skies at the moment.
We had a noisy old time of it in central Scotland last night Rocky and a bit of a sharp one this afternoon. Can summer be far away? :)

Is the drought over yet ?
Question Author
Blimey Chris, would insurance over that, or would it be an 'act of God'?
Question Author
Eddie, I'm in Thames Water area so drought still here and hosepipe ban firmly in place.
Got caught in one like that when I was out on the bicycle this evening round Belfast Lough. Couldn't have got wetter if I was in the lough itself. At least lycra dries quickly.

Still peeing down on and off now.
Just heavy rain in Manchester, didn't hear hailstones but was in the pub and only knew it was bucketing it down when I went out for a cig mid quiz.
We had it in Eastbourne, but only the posh end. The other end of town didn't get any!
