I've suddenly got a permanent message from McAfee across the top of Answerbank to say they've tested the page and blocked content from potentially dangerous or suspicious sites. It's blocking some of the adverts. Anyone else got this-it appeared yesterday.

I experienced this and posted in Technology.

Thanks! Hadn't noticed other post! Have just had a look. Don't often go on technology- too technical for me!!
I have managed to stop it but only by downloading Ad Block plus which seems to have stopped getting the adverts. Sorry AB.

I did consider AdBlock a while back before this message appeared but didn't download it as I wasn't sure exactly what it would block and didn't want it to block something important!
I have been looking back into other postings about the download. If I find it blocks important info then I will remove it, time will tell.
Work's security does that every now and again. McAfee says why it blocked it. Often untrustworthy sites apparently.
