I have experienced R breast pain for months now.I now wear a bra in bed for support.

However I was having severe lower back problems and went to a chiroprator or it could have been an osteopath and part from my lower back i had vertebrae misaligned in the middle and upper back. She did the business and lo and behold the pain has disappeared.

I explained to her about the breast pain and lower stomach pain and she said the pressure of the muscles and vertebrae in the back often affects the 'front' as well because of nerve pressure.

At the end of the day it could be hormonal but it might be worth a visit specially if for eaxmple you sit at a computer a lot.Hope its better soon - it is really quite chronic - I can empathise.

You may have Mastitis trionam. Nothing to worry about,I've had it on and off for years. You could take Oil Of Evening Primrose in large amounts as they contain GLA or Gamma-Linolic-Acid. Pure GLA used to be available on prescription but was stopped about 2 years ago.
I empathise with you. I've suffered for about 3 years. I've tried evening primrose, cut out caffeine, cut down on salt, had my bra size checked, kept a pain chart etc, etc. After many visits to the doctor I was eventually referred to a breast clinic where I was told that my pain and lumps are due to glandular tissue due to hormonal changes in my cyclical cycle, and that I'll probably have it until the menopause!! The pain isn't as bad as it used to be, it's now mainly around the time of my period. I have been taking a high dose vitamin B supplement which may have helped. I would suggest you persevere with your GP until you feel satisfied. Good luck. I wish you well.
