Just watched this super programme repeated form last week. What a great couple they are, no airs and graces, full of fun and so much in love. What a shame they are not next in line for being King and Queen, I'm sure Charles and Camilla, however capable they will be, are not half as popular as William & Kate, who are determined to get down to the level of the people and to win hearts and minds......

maggiebee; no, we get George VII
I think that Carmilla puts the Battle in Battle Axe Take me to the Tower
maggiebee, sorry, but Charles I and Charles II have already reigned over Scotland (as part of the united kingdoms after 1603)
There has been strong indication that Chucky boy will change his title, as he is entitled to, to King George VII (of both England and Scotland). William, assuming he doesn't change his name would be King William V of England and Wales and IV of Scotland.
" King William V of England and Wales and IV of Scotland."

Not so. There are no kings of England and Scotland, merely of the UK. This question was settled on the accession of Edward VII (who incidentally was only 59 when he came to the throne) whereby if there was a discrepancy in the regnal numbers the higher of the two would apply to the UK. Thus if we ever have a King James again he will be styled James VIII of the UK and not III.

Charles II was actually crowned at Scone in 1651...
Love William and Kate - can't wait for them to have their first born !
Only the crowns were united in 1603, not the kingdoms. This did not occur till 1707, and then only because the Act of Settlement 1700 did not apply to Scotland and England was afraid of a Stuart restoration there.
I don't think HM would like William to become King at an early stage in his marriage, she was forced into that position, she was 25 when she became Queen, she had only been married for 5 years. The lack of a defined role for her husband did, I believe, cause strains in the marriage.
There is, though, the other possibility which would be that she will outlive Charles, hence William would be the Heir Apparent however old he was.
