favourite present in your life so far. A present that has meant so much to you that you will remember it always.
Mine was a child's handbag made out of white raffia, with a purple flower as a fastener.I was about 6 at the time and it made me feel so grown up.Took it everywhere , showed everyone, absolutely loved it.
Had lots of presents since then , but nothing can compare to the handbag!!!!!

Probably my first electric guitar.
We had something called an outrider, never seen one before and never seen one since. It was like a skateboard but you put your knee on it, had a small steering handle thing and a bar to the side which you held with your other hand...then you pushed with your other foot.
18 red roses, mmm
Either the spacehopper I got for my 8th birthday or the hot air balloon trip my OH organised for my 50th. Both were brilliant.
Mine was ASBO, my cat. My best friend's cat had a litter and for my birthday present she offered me the pick of the litter! When he's being nice, I call him "my best present ever".
Morris Minor..Black with beautiful shiny chrome. My first car.
Getting my first bunch of flowers; roses & lillies was so unexpected & so lovely, never thought i'd be the type to get flowers so was such a shock! Now I expect them lol
The present Mrs Hughes and I were out walking near Barlaston church with the children - this was before we were married, so thirty-plus years ago. We saw an old gentleman with an easel and canvas painting the view of the long tree-lined road known as The Church Drive.

Unbeknown to me, she found out the gentleman's details, bought the painting he was working on that day, had it framed and gave it to me for my birthday. It was such a lovely thought, and it has hung in our living room since, and always reminds me of how much she loves me.
An American import skateboard I'd long had my eye on which I was lucky to be given for my 12th birthday: red 65mm Kryptonics on ACS 500 trucks on a Pace fibreglass flexi-board. :-)

I was inseparable from that board, using it 8 hours a day, every day all through one baking hot summer holiday, until some friends and I got caught by the Police boarding down the up roads of a multi-story car park. My pride and joy was confiscated and I had to pay £10 to get it back.

After much scrimping and saving I got it back and soon after whilst attempting some super radical new trick I snapped the board. I was truly gutted.
My Engagement ring... been married before but this time it means so much

I was going to say my sewing machine...got it in my 20s and its still going strong saved me a fortune over the years
On our wedding day my husband gave me a brooch which was like his regimental cap badge. It's the loveliest thing I have ever been given. I thought it was just metal and bits of glass, but it's actually gold and real diamonds!
Mine was a surprise trip to NY for my 40th, unforgettable.
My 15th birthday at the height of Beetlemania. My sister-in-law made a huge paper mache insect type beatle filled with just about every item from the Rimmel make-up range all wrapped individually, lipsticks, eye shadows the lot, I still remember how much I loved it.
a steak dinner in a restaurant on my 14th birthday in the 70´s. It was 2 firsts, first time tasted steak, and first time and only time in a restaurant when growing up.
The iPad I'm writing this on.
Totally unexpected, joint Christmas present from Mrs BJ and both daughters.
I still have to use the PC for some jobs, but this is so much easier.
