MEDIA mogul Rupert Murdoch exhibited ‘wilful blindness’ to what was going on in his media empire and ‘is not a fit and proper person to exercise the stewardship of a major international company’, MPs said today.

and thats from a group of people some of whom spent years stealing and fiddling money from the taxpayers.

are they really in a position to pass judgement

They're just enjoying their revenge.
The fact that they did wrong, some of them, doesn't make Murdoch right and doesnt't mean that they can't recognise that he is wrong. A con man can recognise another con man.
how many of the MPs on the committee broke the expenses rules?
They didn't need to break expenses rules.

They just worked an ethically bankrupt system.

Unlike most of us they were in a position to legalise their lack of honesty and integrity
some of them broke the rules none the less. They'd be the ones I'd be unhappy to see on a committee like this. Hence my asking the question.
What will happen with their judgement ? **** all !

Its hypocritical of the MP'S who have been guilty of sticking their heads in the trough of public money.

Sent then up north and I'll gladly bit their backsides for you folks.

"how many of the MPs on the committee broke the expenses rules?"
From what I can gather - none.
I can't immagine for one moment that someone of Mr Murdoch's experience and approach (as well as being Australian!) is going to waste an atom of thought about what a bunch of British MP's think about his fitnesss to do anything at all!
I agree with the powers that be. I don`t think he is a fit and proper person to be running a media empire either.
