I have just read a post from yesterday where you said you spend about £30 a week to feed your family including a dog and cat. May I ask what sort of meals you cook?

It depends how many potatoes, yorkshire puds and veg you also put on the plate Pasta ;-)

When I pick over a chicken there is no meat left (dog have small chicken meal each day ) and you need MEAT to make good stock for soup

I don't eat potatoes or yorkies...so that's why I stuff myself with chicken ;-)
