The bus on the way home from work was quite full yesterday, when a woman got on with - a chair. A velour-covered dining-room type chair.

There was nowhere to sit, so she plonked the chair in the aisle and sat on it.

The funny thing was, the other passengers already seated thought it was really amusing, but people who got on after her didn't seem to notice, they just moved round her to the back of the bus....

all the time, this was recently, two guys got on with a very large TV, they tried to put it in the tiny luggage bit at the front of the bus, failed of course, so held it for the rest of the journey. Completely blocking the aisle i might add.
i once brought a broom home on the bus and some people hung onto it like a rail!
what's more surprising is what you can see from the drivers cab

was that the queen, boxtops? I'm sure she has a mini-throne for those occasions when she has to catch the number 37.

well, it's a bit rude some of it .... I'll let you guess ;-)

But things like making breakfast - literally pouring milk into a cereal bowl of cornflakes, buttering toast, putting on make up, brushing shoes, curling hair. Some of this done whilst driving! Some as a passenger

There were two girls eating porridge on the bus yesterday, they'd just bought it from MacDonalds - it smelled very good!
You made breakfast and put your make up on while you were driving the bus??
lol

That's been seen in the cars going past the bus from the cab
i hate people eating on the bus, and the same goes for women putting on their slap, brushing hair, it's so unhygienic. If they don't have time to do these things, get up 10 minutes earlier. I did read of one bus driver, this was in my local paper, who got out the cab, knelt down in the aisle and started praying to Allah. I think the passengers were not amused.
I used to love taking my daughter to the seaside on an open top bus. We
both thoroughly enjoyed it.
last sunday on a bus heading back into bristol was an elderly lady with a huge bag of doughnuts, which she offered to various passengers, along with her collected wisdom. some passengers played along - i mean, doughnuts! - whilst others, if they could, would have crawled out through the side of the bus.
talking of "sights you can see" have you watched any of the People of Walmart that are on U Tube ? I think they call them Walmartians, there is even a Walmartians song, now these really are different.
My daughter and her friend used to take their long bows on the bus. No-one ever bothered them.
There was a man with a plated roast dinner on a bus I got into town last weekend!
a young bloke with a Cello in a case, took up so much space that no one could get down the aisle.
Jenna - I was actually thinking of that when I was reading this thread. :-)
