no and you dont have to buy one for it either.

Oh brilliant i will tell my pooch he'll be thrilled.. he's a bit skint at the moment :)
seriously though, tickets are not required but you should keep the dog on a lead and off the seats as some people may object to the hairs.

Yes will keep him on a lead & he can sit on my knee he's only little, thanks Baza

there was a thread along similar lines (tee-hee) a few weeks ago. I would still like to know, if I had a big dog, GSD for example, am I allowed to just take it on a train and sit in the normal seating area?
If it is a large dog you may need to reserve the seat at the end of carriages with a wide space/no table (usually for wheelchairs or disabled people) It may be worth ringing customer care to find out .
