Morning AB'ers: your help please with 15d : Weird location for eagle's nest, some say

Is it 'eerie' or 'eyrie'?

Could be either as far as I can see.

I would go with eerie, as the clue says 'some say' which indicates to me that it sounds like 'eyrie./ But there again....................

"Eagle's nest, some say" to my mind means "sounds like eagle's nest" - eyrie,
so I would go for EERIE
