which are poisonous for a dog to swallow?? Our lab loves drinking out of puddles and chewing sticks eating poop (any he can find) and bugs. Hes been sick twice today and i can only think it was something he ate last night :s

If you think he has eaten something that has made him ill, it could be anything, weedkiller, toxins, slug/snail bait etc, or he could have swallowed something and it is stuck causing a blockage.

Brilliant list! thank you, i think it might his butchers bones hes had them a week now so going to get rid
A week? Are they left outside, if so, anything could have crawled over them, slugs/snails etc, is he treated for lungworm?

I only give mine a knuckle bone ever few weeks to keep their teeth clean, and they are taken up after a few hours.

right they re defo going, yes hes treated for lungworm as my husband plans to do trials with him
Not sure what doing trials has to do with being treated for lungworm LOL. What have you used as not all worming medications cover lungworm?

the vet did it when we took him for his jabs, they asked if we wanted cst extra but meant he was covered
There is no injection for lungworm to my knowledge, so you may need to check. Or did he use Advocate spot on which is administered to the back of the neck?

i had to leave the room he was bleeding from his micro chipping which nearly made me feight! Probably the spot on the neck, just can remember it being mentioned in the bill!
