No, I don't go out of my way to buy British. The Olympics and Jubilee have no bearing on my shopping habits and preferences.

Warbutons are taking their bread to France
Huh? what has that got to do with anything?

Just saying that british companies are doing well
I do with food if I can - especially meat.
I buy what I feel is best for me. Obviously I'd like to buy British, but sometimes how do I know if I'm buying British? If I buy a Honda car made in Great Britain, am I buying British? I would be helping a British workforce, but where are the profits going?

As for the Olympics and the Queen's Jubilee, I agree with 'daffy', to me these events have no bearing on buying British.
'' Just saying that british companies are doing well ''

Is that why so many are going into administration bella?
I buy whatever is cheapest. I work long hours in a hard job for a pittance so that I don't freeze or starve. A year out of work decimated the value of the 25 years I had behind me. They've got me over a barrel and they know it.I somehow don't feel the *joy*.
Warby's Bolton born and Bread!

Sorry should have said a british company
I buy what I think is best value and best quality regardless of where it comes from. The Olympics and the Queens Jubilee have no influence on what I buy. Why would they? (I am not in the least interested in either the Olympics or the Jubilee ;o) )
I don't buy Warburtons, I find it stodgy and full of gluten.
Bella, as you type look around your room, to start the thing you are looking at either China Asia/ TV, same place, DVD/ made, if you had a close look at your clothes, made abroad with UK stickers, I don't think you have an Item within your house is made here anymore, as the joke goes, keep Britain British!!!!!!
