fresh crusyt loaf with cheese, pate and marmite i could eat the lot

i'm currently eating breadsticks and hummous and have gammon sarnies for lunch (4 slices) thats about it though
A few slices a day, a couple of rounds of toast in the morning and maybe a sandwich at lunch time.
Well often I have a couple of pieces of toast, then maybe a slice or two with lunch, a sandwich mid afternoon, maybe a roll with soup before dinner and then perhaps a sandwich before bedtime, or a toastie so quite a lot compared to some people it seems. Probably between 6-10 slices per day averagely, that's not counting things like bread and butter pudding when that occurs- I love bread.
If you're interested in this for health/ weight statistics I'm male , 51 years old, quite physically fit and not overweight and I've always eaten lots of bread.
They say the heavier the bread, the better it is for you.
Some days I don't eat any and maybe a roll at the weekend.
Just got in from walking the hounds and had my 2 slices a day (brown & toasted) with B'fast whilst holding Hounds at bay with a dog-gate as they think my b'fast should be their elevensies!
This bloke eats an average of 4 slices a day though its always pretty grainy rustic type bread....none of this processed white nonsense
