time to watch some really jolly tv, with great cooking, baking. Last weeks episode had me salivating over the gorgeous breads and cakes, and the scenery across Norway was just spectacular. I love these two blokes, they brighten up a very dull evening.

Its love of cheese with mine Lottie! He could beat Wallace and Gromit hands down! Mine also lost weight after a heart attack 6 years ago but unfortunately it found him again!
Can I come and live with your husband Ann86, Cheese is my favourite thing in all the world and Mr LL doesn't much like it. Mr LL is going on very long walks on a daily basis which is keeping the weight off.
You are most welcome Lottie, but he comes with a few conditions ..... you must endure "Last of the Summer Wine" programmes by the million, love classic FM, you must be a formula one motor racing widow every other Sunday afternoon, and you must hate weather forecasts and TV adverts - he won't watch them! You musn't mind or express an opinion when he wears a black shirt with navy trousers (yes honestly - no colour co-ordination, he hasn't a clue!) Changed your mind Lottie? Bless him he can't help it - he's an OAP next year!
Mine was an OAP last year. And we both love Formula 1 on Sundays!!!
But Last of the Summer Wine, well, mmmmm, perhaps not. And black shirts and navy trousers are better than jeans with holes in them which are 'good enough to wear around the house' (and then goes out in them!!)
I have now remembered some stilton cheese with apricots is in the fridge and am going to have some before I go to bed.

Night night.
What about this Lottie "take those shoes off, you've just been up the garden in them and you are dirtying our cream carpet" What do you mean - shoes? these are my slippers and they are meant to be worn indoors ......... GRRR
Are you sure you are not me Lottie? We share the same name, same age, similar hubbies, same moans etc etc .................. :))
And I have some white stilton with apricots in the fridge at this very moment ........!!
:o)

(That's more like me - I often go out in the garden in the mud in my slippers and get told off for it. He doesn't possess slippers, he just walks around in socks and they are often odd socks!!)
Well there's a thought Ann!!! Clones!!!!
Not odd socks on mine just holes with toes sticking through - THROW THOSE AWAY!
Sorry em we have completely taken over your thread, all this came because of talk of food ......
Oh the odd socks have holes in too.

Yes, sorry em!!

The cheese is calling me, Ann

Goodnight x
Night Lottie, nice to chat! :)

i don't mind, as only had two replies before i toddled off thought no one was watching. I think Si and Dave are lovely blokes, and the fact that as said they don't take themselves too seriously but are very good cooks, makes them ideal for this sort of programme. Last weeks episode was wonderful, and seeing them come out of that ice bar rather the worse for wear was really funny, as was the knitted pants they wore, if you didn't see it try and check out future repeats or i player.
