....... our IT man in work remembers doing some work for the DVLA, involving computers, which involved heaving a filing cabinet-sized computer into the back of a van. It had a storage capability of 80KB!

Any others, folks?

Very funny but probably wouldn't make any sense to anyone over the age of 16!

Arrrghh! Sorry! Still can't use technology even though we've had a computer since I was about 7!
apple first, then a commodore 64...wizball was my favourite game. i spent hours perfecting my performance! x
I used to love going round to my cousins when I was a kid and play pong pong. Think it was an Atari or something like that. And the came Pacman!
This was my first PC: http://www.richardlag...uter/item/pc10iii/en.

It had 640K RAM, a 2MB EMS expansion board, a 32MB hard disk and an EGA graphics card.
My first computer was a Tiny!
I remember those adding machines. We had one in the accounts office when I was in the RAF, circa 1968. I found it quicker to do the stuff in my head. Early supermarkets had them too; the checkout girl would read the price on the package, punch it it then pull the handle, punching in total at the end. At the time I thought that this was the cutting edge of technology!
