i believe that there is a family connection between Eileen and the Tanners, albeit a number of times removed. Can't remember the episode in which it was explained.

Dont know who is what age and who is meant to be what age, all I know is that Dennis looks a lot younger than Rita

just done a bit of digging. In the programme Elsie would be 89 if still alive.
Rita is 80 and Dennis is 70 next month. So Rita has a toy boy!

Re Sally Webster, it was Everton v Spurs. I presumed she was a guest of Bill Kenwright, maybe friends from his days in Corrie?

Hi Sipowicz, It really sounded strange when I heard it. It was mid commentary and he did not break stride, it all just flowed, I couldn't believe what I had heard. It also proved that he was not commenting on the play in field but play on the tv screen that flashed her face on screen.
