My grandma's budgies are over at my house for 10 days, when ever I try to hold them they back away into their cage.
Is there a way to tame them pretty quick, I understand budgies usually like only one person, is there a way to quickly tame them so you can at least hold them?
They do, do this to everyone it's not just me.
I have a male and a female, or my grandma does the gender do anything. They are a lovely blue and green, male blue (Teekie) female green (Keetie)
I think they're 8 years old...

heck aye Woofgang. Well spotted fellow budgie-lover.
Daisy, I wouldn't even try it - 10 days without flight won't hurt them, you are more likely to damage them trying to get them in and out of the cage. Think how your grandma would feel if something happened while you were trying to get hold of them. Just leave them in the cage.
I am not able to answer your question but this gentleman should be able to do so. See the link below and before anyone questions his credentials I have seen him in real life. He (and his budgies) are amazing:

....and PS how do you know they love being out? Being out in a strange house can be very frightening for a bird - and you don't want them to poo everywhere.
Scared budgies have a habit of dying from fright - explaining that to your grandma would be difficult.

Everyone I really don't understand this just because I'm YOUNG you critisize me? These budgies can be held all I need to know is if there is a way to get them nice-er just nice-er I don't see how I worry you guys... what's the matter with trying to get them to be nicer? Really? Sure I'm American does that make a difference? We're all humans, we all make mistakes!
Daisy, if you ask for advice in this forum then it will be given to you - it isn't based on your age or your nationality, but on people's accumulated experience in the topic in question.
agreed Mosaic but if you read this lady's previous questions, they have largely been about how to do "unwise" things with animals, and the tenor of the advice has been NOT to do whatever the question was about.

@Woofgang what do you mean all my animal questions are about: What should I do with my og in showing? If it's to cheesy to see if well it's to cheesy. Taming budgies. Advice on what to do with my aunt's dog. What's your favourite pet. Update on my aunt's dog. Ideas on what to get my pet rats. How is that worrying?!

*dog sorry.
Mosaic has given you perfectly sound advice and you ignore it. Dont come in here bleating if they die of shock before their owner gets back. Tw@
Can you not contact your grandmother and ask her if she wants you to hold them and/or let them out?
Avatar - no need IMO for your very rude signing off above.
