An old school friend of mine's surname is Bateman, we also had a teacher who would address the pupils as master followed by the surname! Well you can imagine the amusement that used to provide.
I used to regularly sign in a visitor to our company, an engineer, who was built like a brick outhouse, and called Wayne King.
D97x7, we had a Master Bates at school...he was the teacher!! *snigger*

I do believe this one isn't a joke...but I die hard toffee nose round these parts called his daughter Eva Toni Ann. And a friend of mine called her little girl Eva Bluu!
Then we have the twins, Sam 'n Ella.
There is a car dealership not to far from here owned, I presume, by Richard Lovett, not to bad a name really, but why he shortens it to Dick is beyond me.
I used to know a man whose surname was Thirkle. His nickname was 'Magic'. and my last dentist was a Mr Clamp.
I worked in the Rates Office in Birmingham many decades ago. There was a chap on the books called Zachariah Forskin.
