I've just read in the Express that the temperatures have been so high, down south, the hedgehogs are emerging early this year. Probably they've seen the new advert on ITV about lactose intolerance in which hedgehogs feature. Perhaps they want a share of the royalties for them appearing in it!

They are right, the birds ar dawn-chorusing earlier - and yes, it's been known for a long time that we shouldn't feed milk to hedgehogs!
Love that advert! Love hedgehogs, as my avatar suggests!
i din't know that, but was about 6 the one time saw a hedgehog in neighbours garden, (playing with friend) we ran in, got saucer of milk and sat and watched it drink it-hope we didn't kill it as never saw it again
