White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane. I first heard it at a fancy dress party where the theme was 'Hippies'. It's short, powerful and sums up the sixties perfectly- according to my parents anyway. I didn't arrive until 1970. Late as always!! Grace Slick's voice is almost enchanting.

I'll try to answer it but its a toughie..

London's Calling by the clash..Pumping guitars angry vocals and lyrics, its like a call to arms to the young to get off their complacent arses.. it still sounds powerful today 26 years on... the word classic does not do it justice.

gotta be young americans by bowie!

That's a hard one snappy. eh... Radiohead "Creep"

Goo Goo Dolls - the one from City of Angels. Call me a poof but it is an incredibly moving song.....!
Start Of Forever by Paul Weller
i'd go for a prog rock album - they are usually one big long 40 minute song so count and at least you'd get more variety.... ;)
Wish you were here. By Pink Floyd.
John Cage's 4'33 is the only 'song' I wouldn't grow to hate.

Only in Dreams by Weezer.
