lemon meringue pie

i have some ready made pastry to use up,i think i mught try a lemon merfingue pie for a treat tonight.what would you make with leftover pastry??

If I've made puff pastry I use the trimmings to make little cheese palmiers or cheese straws.

Just sprinkle with grated parmesan and some paprika or black pepper and shape to your liking then bake until golden. We'll have them with drinks before dinner.
Quiche so its a dinner for a night when I'm too tired to cook

a quiche might be a better idea,i have loads of eggs and cheese

Lemon/Orange Tart
Chocolate Tart
When the children were little I used to make a few jam or lemon curd tarts with left over pastry. Now I would make a quiche or an apple pie with just a top, or an apple tart with just a bottom!
I would make jam or lemon curd tarts if it is a small amount. Perhaps apple turnovers too.
OH loves a jam pasty!
