How can anyone post an answer to a question like the previous one that runs to more lines than the complete works of Shakespeare ? The post an answer bit doesn't allow space to do that.

The short answer (no pun intended) is that I don't know. I'll look into it for you.
You can use the TAB button to navigate to the answerbox and then to the submit button.
Sorry about that...I won't expect too many answers to that question. Another way to get to the answer box is to set one of your mouse buttons (e.g. the autoscroll button) to maximise from control panel. Then you just go to the "Write your answer" rectangle and press the middle button to expand it to fill the screen. Yet another way, that works occasionally, is to hold CTRL and scroll UP with the autoscroll button to make the text size smaller and bring the answer box up. I think there has already been a thread on this...
Well I have tried all of the suggested solutions and none of them work on the mac. So dear Mr AB Editor ... please tweak your site. Thank you :)

Dunno about the rest of you you, but I find that the desire to actually answer any question is in inverse proportion to the length of said Q!
