I was a fan for decades until BBC 7 (later BBC Radio 7 and now Radio 4 Extra) started broadcasting classic comedies (e.g. the Navy Lark & The Men From the Ministry) at 7pm.

When I occasionally catch an episode these days, I don't even know who half of the characters are!
