Today Is... "Play God Day"

"Balloon Day" (I bet it'll be a let down in the end), "Clean Your Desk Day" (I am beginning to think some of these are made up)

and most importantly:

"Play God Day"

While some of you may indeed be evil geniuses working away in your labs creating monstrous monstrosities against the grain of nature - most of us have to settle for playing god as a pass time.

I wonder what you'd do, given the chance of creating the world again? Mine would go something like:

On the first day he said "let there be coffee" and there was
On the second day he created a tasty pastry, and it was good.
On the third day he said "let there be more hours in the day because 'cor blimey I need more than I originally intended to send" and there was, later.
4th day: He Said "let there be a gin and tonic tree" and there was
5th day: He created lime, because he forgot about that yesterday and really no one wants a G&T without a slice of lime.
6th & 7ths days: Gone fishing.

If I could create the world from scratch, firstly, I would convert the week into a metric week. There would three extra days,namely, upday, middleday and downday. On upday, I would be all upbeat and nice to people. On middleday, I would spend the whole day making plans for all the people I was going to annoy on downday! Oh, I would be available for any complaints on Thursdays!
