Elderman, I don't always agree with the things you say but I hate the way you are treated by many ABers. I hope you and your family have a good, peaceful and loving Christmas.

Elderman posts - "I don’t see the necessity for knowing what particular denomination I am."

I do not personally care what particular sect of religion you belong to, except to say - are you ashamed of your sect?
Further, I have contempt for any sect that vigorously rejects any facts, any evidence that contradicts their fundamental viewpoints. Faith alone leads them to conclude, that evolution ( or physics, or chemistry, or biology for that matter) is wrong, or anti-religious. Much time and effort is spent twisting facts, and/or selectively quoting scientific figures out of context in an effort to rebut the science - Such actions should be recognised for what they are, which is dishonest -and then we get all this sanctimony about how morally superior those of the religious persuasion are, and we get this lot, lying for jesus!

This is the heart of my disdain for your preaching, Elderman - The lying, and the rejection of scientific reality - such rejection of reality pointing to what appears to be a deluded mind state.

Then there is the unattributed cut and paste tracts, clearly not your own work. If you wish to cut and paste, you should at least be honest enough to offer a link to the original source, or acknowledge that you are passing off the work of others as your own. This allows those who wish to argue or rebut the opportunity to view your original source material - but you seem reluctant to do that, and again one has to ask why that should be?

Elderman posts - "The early apostles also defended the scriptures and they warned that in the last days there would rise up those who would draw believers away from the True God of the Bible." - More evidence of a delusional mind state, to me at least - are you that arrogant that you equate yourself as an apostle now?

No begininning to your humility is there, Elderman?

Elderman posts - " I have studied the Bible for a good number of years, I have used various translations of the Bible and, regardless of what some say here, I do understand what I am talking about with regard to scripture." You missed out an important qualifier, which is the phrase "In your opinion". Likewise your comment about study - what you term "study" might equate to my light reading, for instance. Not for the first time, you are attempting to imbue the cut and paste sanctimony you post with an undeserved authority, based upon the unverifiable personal claim the you have "studied", and "in your opinion" you are qualified to comment on scripture. Baloney, and yet more evidence of a deluded thinking.

Elderman posts- " This is what happened when Jesus was on earth and that is why he condemned the religious leaders of his day." Wow, never mind equating yourself with an apostle - now you claim to be a kind of latter day Jesus? Hubris? Delusion?
LazyGun........Poor you.
@Elderman - Ahh,the usual tactic of ignoring the commentary, and a refusal to engage in any sort of debate. In short, the kind of action we have come to expect.
No you’re a time loser.
Well, you have been wasting a lot of your time too, Elderman, with all the drivel you have put on this thread since the 23rd - and all the others as well.
Hardly a waste of time DT if it keeps you lot entertained, and he obviously has some 80 odd posts and 5 pages later :-)
A time loser? I've got a watch like that. I think it needs a new battery.
his cracked lack of logic is somewhat intriguing, B00 - hasn't wasted much of my time. I could have spent it in deep prayer or an extra couple of glasses of wine or port, I guess....
Well you clever lot how would you explain what time is? Some would say that time is a way of looking at things or that it is the distance between events. Therefore, if nothing ever happened there would be no time. Yet to define what time actually is becomes as baffling as explaining what universal space is.
Steady on Elderman..One thing at a time, lets not get ahead of ourselves. Are you suggesting that time and space are somehow connected. If so can you justify that assertion?
Lazygun - he couldn't find anything to cut and paste, obviously. And I think it is more likely that Elderman cannot see what is under his nose, not, as he says, everyone else.
