Jake, you tell me its right for the prisoners to live better than pensioners? what do you expect when you break the law? I have been into Wakefield prison but that was to del Metal for the inmates to make whatever they made, I've talked to them when they where off loading the metal, not one said that inside was bad & like a hotel! have I been misinformed? Is it also right that the people that have worked all thei lifes has to make a choice of putting on the Electric fire OR eat.

Your first 'question ' was actually 3 questions in one that were unrelated.
First about deterring murder , then about using a mobile phone while driving and finally asking ''what is the answer to crime ?''
Now you are waffling on about pensioners heating , have you read the thread about the winter fuel payment, prisoners do not get it !
Then in your last post you say <not one said that inside was bad & like a hotel! have I been misinformed?> sorry, but that does not make sense, are we to assume that Hotels are 'bad' and that prison is better , as that is what your post suggests.
Can you actually explain what you are asking ? and which if any question you want answered?
