Ed - sorry but it's gone again. I have just tried to go back, and it won't. Anyone else finding this?

I'm using IE9 worked a couple of hours ago, now not working again
Working very occasionally on IE7, not at all on IE8.
All working fine here with IE9, mind you it always has been working for me.
yes, but not all the time.
I keep getting the same message as Oldred/ only place it doesnt happen Editors blog and suggestions.
Treetops/oldred:

This message is IE9 being a little over-protective. It's hiding the text adverts for you (you should see a # symbol on the screen where they should be...)
IE 8.7 Back button not working
Drop-down list of 'Recent Pages' showed one 'Advertisement' when I first looked - it is now showing two. Most I have seen is three.
^^ That should read 8.0 (not 8.7)
My IE9 isn't working :-(
hmm.
I'll talk to the team again.
AB Editor - thanks for that advice.

I am actually using IE8.

Initially I thought it was because of different settings in IE on my laptop but now that I have my other machine back I see that it was not so.

I should have said that this has only been happening during the last 2 days which is why I thought it may be related to the problem.
Thank you Ed, I am still on IE7. I can see the sign you are referring to no hazzle thanks.
PS..that hassle was the xmas spelling Lol

IE8 is still working fine with the Hosts mod file in place.
That is because it blocks ALL external content listed in the file .. most of it persistent ad content (it's source)
Shame more folks dont know about the Hosts file.
