Cant find the white 5ft fibre optic Christmas tree I bought last year, nor can I find the huge box of decorations? Not in the shed, the cupboard under the stairs or in the loft. How can you lose a 5ft tree?

It could be hiding behind a 6ft tree, do you have one of those?
Someone threw it out when they were having a clear out?

Not sure about elves or gremlins, maybe a squadron of ants in Christmas hats?
Have you checked the fairy that goes on the top ? Maybe she took you at your word when she asked what she should do with it after last year.
Nice one OG :-)
The taste police have confiscated it..... white is sooo last year.... under the beds? back of the spare room wardrobe or on top of it? Airing cupboard?

Not the fairy, cant find her either. Maybe theyve been kidnapped. I'll call the Christmas squad and ask them to investigate.
They've been in our loft too - 2 big outside dec's disappeared without a trace.
SLR camera and tripod in our house, somewhere, but goodness knows where, not seen for about 5 yrs, how does that happen?
Its those naughty little elves. When we moved house, I thought I would find everything that seemed to have got mislaid over the years but NO, still no trace even though we emptied every cupboard and drawer.
It's the Borrowers, sometimes they get too attached to something and forget they have borrowed it.
^^ They do that with my husband's socks - but only one at a time.
