I was wondering if the 4 year old Albert Beilhartz was ever found after being missing in Estes Park, CO in the summer of 1938. He was lost while on vacation with his parents Mr. and Mrs. William Harvey Beilhartz of Denver. I know of an article that mentions a ransom note for $500 and they suspected the ransom request was rather a racketeering extortioner than a kidnaper, but it goes on to say that they had not yet found a trace of his body and that article was dated November 29th, 1938. This article also had a curious sentence - "Beilhartz, the father of 11 other children, who owns a nursery here, has insisted throughout the child is still alive."

"this is"
I am a niece of Alfred Edwin Beilhartz, My Mother was his oldest sister. No Alfred was never found. Yes he was the the youngest of eleven children.
The family, (all brother, and sisters with their familys) had gone to Estes Park on a fishing trip.
