Is it about time as a society we taught our children more about their responsibilities than their rights?? Don't want to return to the days where kids in bad situations felt isolated with no-one to turn to, but has it swung the other way?

A law abiding father ends up in court for "assisting" a child out his garden after that child had been bullying his own son and was shouting abuse at the family home.

What I can't understand is why the parents of the bully called the police. Surely it served him right? The little thugs needs proper parenting.
He should never have been charged in the first place of course, but justice was done in the end. The parents called the police because they're idiots who've raised a bully.
know your rights seem to be prevalent amongst the young, well what about this poor blokes rights. The boys parents need a lesson in parenting, teach their child some manners.

Having been in a similar postion as this chap, I am surprised that he managed to control himself to "guide" him out of the garden. I felt like doing some serious damage to the child in my case. Some parents can see no wrong in their children, I would never have gone back and told my parents what had happened as I know that I would just be in worse trouble (not that I would have been bullying and taunting my victim and his parents anyway).
