Our teacher gave us this question but I was away from school when the class was learning this and now I am very stuck.....

The following are the bowling scores of two players for last season.

Sally: 180 195 190 170 184 162 188 192 200
178 185 180 182 185 177 160 193 155

Joe: 225 229 160 175 155 200 193 200 140
180 140 150 200 198 185 170 160 210

Construct a frequency distribution table for each player. Use an interval of 10 for each player.

What Are Interval's? And what does it mean use an interval of 10???

Sorry To You Everyone But I Really Need Help And NO One In My House Knows How To Do This :(

I Still Don't Understand
Use an interval covering a score range of ten. So for example use 0-9, 10-19,....200-209, 210-220. Or use 1-10, 11-20... Or use 5-14, 15-24,....
As the lowest score is 140 and the highest is 210, I'd probably use 135-144, 145-154,... 205-214. That way your lowest and highest each fall in themiddle of an interval. But you choose.
To do a frequency distribution for each player just count out how many values fall within each interval
I've just spotted a 229, so 210 isn't the highest. (Not that it matters.) To keep it simple why not just use 140-149, 150-159,....
