It gives them something to do between trips to the DSS to help themselves to some of our money.

Have a look in News.....
They're protesting against financial greed and corruption. Good on them, I say!
My question is...have they got a job and just taking time off OR are they unemployed?
Only they can answer that sqad.
Sqad, some of them have put their jobs on the line to be a part of these protests. That's how strongly people feel about it.
I saw a story on the news over the weekend, of a company director who had been there since they started. Just because these people are making a stand for what they believe in, doesn't make them a lower class citizen!

\\\\ Just because these people are making a stand for what they believe in, doesn't make them a lower class citizen!\\\

Did I say that it did?

I just wondered, as at their age, I couldn't just pack up and live in a tent outside St Paul's Cathedral......I had responsibilities.

I would like to know as the the state of the company either before or after the director had decided to leave his "responsibilities.
I'd to know what they propose to replace the current system with.
Sorry, Sqad. That was actually aimed after JJ's comment. The bit about the company director was for you. Sorry, it's Monday morning and I'm not quite with it... lol.
flip...LOL...marry me!
Lol. I would have to get divorced first... as would you! :D
flip....don't be so sensible ;-)
When the Met police flew over at night with their heat-seeking camers, 90% of the tents were empty. The protesters had gone off to the warmth of a capitalist hotel, or t0 their capitalist built and heated homes.
Happily for the protesters, the "capitalist" system against which they are protesting does actually allow them to protest.

In countries which have embraced alternative socio-economic systems, they would not be permitted to protest.
Jayne ..... don't be so sensible. ;o)
sorry
i actually don't know, information flyers have been pasted over some of the surrounding walls, not sure how they get those off. Capitalism the great sin, that most people are involved in one way or the other. Greedy bankers, well they have been around a long time, as have corrupt politicians. People sitting on their backsides outside a church seems a bit of a waste of time. If they had loud hailers outside No 10 i could understand that and the Houses of Parliament, to get their views across whatever they may be.
