I know a few people that use Arden Grange and some buy direct from this site.

Hi there, yes Lottie is on Arden Grange, the chicken one. My vet nurse recommended it and they sell Hills!! She is in fantastic condition and loves the food. I get it online and have used a few companies. The best is Vet UK for me as they email you the exact hour that it'll be delivered by courier and the price is very competitive.

Yes long time no speak, was surprised to see you a post from you. Did you sort out the problems you had with the breeder?
Question Author
Breeder all sorted but not a good outcome, I have taken on a rescue now from Ireland but having major problems with her skin hence the arden grange post I have just about tried everything else lol x
Oh dear, sorry to hear that, what is the skin problem?

Hi Jules just about everything she reacts to pollen , bites , wheat etc I have her on piriton daily nothing wheat based ,frontline combi every four weeks she is bathed in malaseb shampoo, and I use salvon diuted on her skin rashes, I noticed this morning she was biting her paw something she walked on has brought her out in a sore there , she has had steriod injections from vets but i do not want to keep going down that road I suppose the next thing will be to get her allergy tested but that is going to cost big time lol x
Oh dear, sounds a nightmare. Think allergy testing is around £200 - £300, dependant on your vet, but I dont think it always comes up with the answer. Have you thought of a home cooked food elimination diet?

Hi Jules,Im thinking about giving her raw at the moment if the arden grange dont work, she,s on the change over now but as you know it will take at least 6 weeks to see if it helps, so will have to give it time ,she a great bitch in all other ways a nice pet , but afraid of her own shadow lol no good for me to work but I would not be without her now Ive been looking for your email add but cant find it anywhere in my address book im sure you gave it to me but I will keep looking x

My sister used to feed her GSD on it a)to get some weight on him and b)because he a sensitive digestion. She used to buy it from a local breeder. However, she tells me she switched to one of the Gilpa brands as he grew older and still feeds this to her current dog. It's cheaper and can be bought online from the manufacturer or from a number of local stockists. There's a range of recipes for various dogs and I'm planning on moving out Ellie over to it in a few weeks' time.
